Marina Hills 1st November 2016

Hi to All around the Globe,

Well it’s November already and it wont be long we will all be celebrating Christmas, we had 30 players turn out today to take part in our November Monthly Medal.

The Course was looking great and you could even get a bit of roll out there, the rough was brutal, straying off the fairway wasn’t the place to be the grass is still very heavy.

We had a couple of new and returning players Steve March and Dave Stewart.  Sadly Steve Peters is heading back to Oz along with Dave MacKenzie it was great to spend time with both of you here in the Philippines and also in Thailand, we all look forward to seeing you again soon.

Well I left this piece of news till last because you will all hear about it for the next few years.  In 2011 Freddy won the Club Championship and frequently reminds everyone of his golfing ability and today on Hole 3 Freddy got an ACE!!! Hole in One the story goes he hit a 3 rescue off the tee it pitched at the front of the green rolled up and into the hole.

After just turning 70 years of age in Thailand in early October Freddy has experienced his first hole in one during Competition and what a great time to get one during a Monthly Medal. Well done Freddy this will give you bragging rights for a while not a life time.
