You found our website by googling us, or via a reference and would like to play golf with The Balibago’s when you are somewhere in or around Angeles City (we even have members coming in from Manila) be it during a holiday or as a long time resident. Everybody is welcome to join us but we have a few rules as you will understand being a gentleman golf player (m/f).
To make it as easy as possible for both of us, here are the rules and requirements:
- You will behave as a friendly gentlemen towards the members and even more towards the caddies.
- The regular club competition is every Wednesday morning at Beverly Place in Mexico/San Fernando.
- If you would like to play on our usual Wednesday morning, please text captain Warwick not later than the Friday before. In case you have to cancel, also send a text to Warwick, even on the morning that you were scheduled to play. We need to have the option to reschedule the groups at the last moment.
- Mobile number Warwick: 0916 427 6937. After that you click on the next week’s button on the homepage on Monday morning, where you will find your name and tee-time as well as the presentation venue. Let Warwick also know if you need transportation. We have a few options.
- The weekly contribution is P 500, to be paid in advance before starting the round regardless if you join us at the presentation. This includes the drinks afterward at one of the presentation venues. The presentation and killer pool competition is from 2-5 PM.
- The P 500 is needed for the drinks at the presentation venue, the prizes, the maintenance of the website, and miscellaneous expenses to keep our club running.
- The birdie pool is voluntary. It’s only P 100 to have the chance to feel rich for a day.
- After 5 stroke-play rounds, you will get a Handicap and start to play in the competitions.
- We use extremely secret local rules called the “Marina Hills” rules. Just ask your group members the first time you’re playing.
- In case you will play more regularly with us, we advise you to buy a “Philippine Senior Federation” members card at Beverly Place. The card wil give you great promotions on several courses in the Philippines.
