Hi to all around the Globe,
Today we had 21 players take part in our stableford competition, it was a scorcher out there today getting your tee in the ground was a real challenge. The greens weren’t so great some of the ones they had sanded were like putting in a bunker you were at the mercy of the sand as to which way it wanted to go. I guess we all played under the same conditions so whilst it makes it fair it doesnt make putting much fun.
Freddy Cannova had the best round in A grade with 37 points to take out the winner’s trophy and Terry Chapman had a good round of 39 points to win B grade, well done to both of you.

Hi to all around the Globe,
Today we all competed in the April Monthly Medal, 28 players turned up to have a social game of golf, that’s what our club is about the ability for people who enjoy the game to get out meet new people and learn the game we all love to play.
The course was looking good today recent rain had greened up the fairways, the course was long Dave had placed all the marks at the back of the tees. The greens were still a little bumpy and sandy on some of them.
There were some great golf played today Ben Ros had an amazing game crating a 78 off the stick on an 18 handicap, well done Ben and sneeky Powell had a nett 66 in the B grade.
