Hello to all our readers around the world,
Today we played a Stableford Event fought out between 14 golfers (9 in the A-Grade & 5 in the B-Grade). The rain held off and we found the “Greens” good with the “Fairways” good but very wet which is not surprising as we started our game only about 4 hours after a very heavy rainfall. Beverly Place does dry out exceedingly quickly but the very soft conditions made life quite difficult for all, as only three golfers hit par or better.
Our presentation bar this week was Honey Kos which unfortunately might be our last time there as a BSGC Group (breaking a very long tradition), as the bar has changed hands yet again and the new owners have ramped up the price of beer offered to us, putting it outside our budget ……sad, but life goes on.

Stableford Event at Beverly Place on TUESDAY SEPT 17th 7:30am – 8:00am Tee-Off. This is because Beverly Place was double booked by a tournament on the Wednesday so we have moved back a day. Note the Tee-Off Times. We will be returning to “Eruptions/1991“
