BSGC at Luisita Mar 4-5, 2021

Over the two days of Thursday March 4 & Friday March 5, 2021, BSGC organized a two day Tournament at Luisita GCC in Tarlac as our annual trip to the Cliffs in La Union was again not possible. The tournament format was Stableford with combined two day scores determining the winners.

Luisita offered a great package with golf, cart, caddy & a meal all bundled into a combined two day price of
P 4,150……. great value. We had 20 players in the competition with handicaps that conveniently split into two group ie 0-17 and 18+ with 10 in each group.

Thursday March 4th
NTP: Hole 2 Torey Spink, – Hole 13 Graham Crispin P300 each
Par-3 Birdie Pool – P1,700 scooped by Mike Powell
Friday March 5th
NTP: Hole 2 Steve King – Hole 13 Bob Taylor P300 each
Par-3 Birdie Pool – P1,600 scooped by Dave Paliwoda

B-Group (18+)

The course was in really good shape and the weather great if not a bit hot for some. After the game we took lunch & drinks on the terrace which was very enjoyable and sociable. For some players this was the first time they had played at this venerable golf course and the feedback from all players was that it was a great tournament which should be repeated sometime in the future.
